Sarah Wager

Sarah has represented her clients with dedication and zeal since her admission to the California State Bar in 2000. In that time, Sarah has successfully handled legal disputes for a range of clients, from Fortune 100 companies to individual stakeholders. She represents all of her clients with the same level of determination and respect, making sure to understand each of their specific needs. Sarah’s client-centered approach enables her to handle each matter in a way that is efficient, effective, and cost-sensitive.

Prior to joining Hansen Law Firm, P.C. in 2015, Sarah practiced at the prestigious trial law firm of McManis Faulkner, and AmLaw 100 firm, Dechert LLP. An experienced litigation attorney, Sarah has successfully handled cases involving complex commercial and business-related disputes, including contracts, business torts, securities fraud, shareholder derivative suits, and consumer class actions; intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, trade secrets, copyrights and piracy; real estate; employment; and the False Claims Act.

Sarah has been recognized by the legal community for her superior work product, unwavering commitment to her clients, and her preeminent ethical and professional standards. In that regard, Sarah has been named by her peers as a Rising Star in Northern California Super Lawyers from 2008-2014, and also as one of the top women attorneys in the Northern California list by Super Lawyers in 2013. Recognizing the premier up-and-coming attorneys in the region, only approximately two percent (2%) of the Northern California Bar receive this distinction.

Sarah graduated from U.C. Santa Cruz in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, and from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2000. She is admitted to practice in the State of California, the United States Court of Appeal for the Ninth Circuit, and all California District Courts. She has also practiced before the U.S. International Trade Commission, and the U.S. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
